लखनऊ अग्निकांड के बाद हापुड़ में बड़ा एक्शन: बिना मानकों के चल रहे कोचिंग सेंटर और लाइब्रेरी सील, सैकड़ों बच्चों की सुरक्षा पर उठे सवाल

लखनऊ में कोचिंग सेंटर में हुए भीषण अग्निकांड में 15 छात्रों की दर्दनाक मौत के बाद हापुड़ प्रशासन पूरी तरह अलर्ट मोड में नजर आया। सोमवार सुबह शहर में बिना मानकों और अग्नि सुरक्षा व्यवस्थाओं के संचालित हो रहे कोचिंग सेंटरों और लाइब्रेरी के खिलाफ प्रशासन ने व्यापक अभियान चलाया। इस दौरान कई संस्थानों का औचक निरीक्षण कर गंभीर खामियां मिलने पर उन्हें सील कर दिया गया।

सीएफओ अजय शर्मा, तहसीलदार स्वाति गुप्ता, नायब तहसीलदार श्वेता तापड़िया तथा कोतवाली प्रभारी मनीष चौहान के नेतृत्व में गठित टीम ने सुबह से ही शहर के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में संचालित कोचिंग सेंटरों और लाइब्रेरी का निरीक्षण शुरू किया। जांच के दौरान कई संस्थानों में अग्निशमन उपकरणों का अभाव, आपातकालीन निकास मार्ग की व्यवस्था न होना, क्षमता से अधिक छात्रों को बैठाना और सुरक्षा मानकों की अनदेखी जैसी गंभीर कमियां सामने आईं।

प्रशासनिक कार्रवाई के दौरान सराय क्षेत्र स्थित एक लाइब्रेरी और कोचिंग सेंटर में सैकड़ों छात्र-छात्राएं अध्ययन करते मिले। अधिकारियों के अनुसार संस्थान में सुरक्षा के नाम पर लगभग कोई व्यवस्था नहीं थी। संकरी सीढ़ियां, अपर्याप्त निकास मार्ग और अग्निशमन उपकरणों का अभाव किसी भी आपात स्थिति में बड़े हादसे को न्योता दे सकता था। अधिकारियों ने तत्काल प्रभाव से संस्थान को सील करने की कार्रवाई की।

अभियान के दौरान चंडी मंदिर रोड स्थित वर्धमान कोचिंग सेंटर पर हुई कार्रवाई भी चर्चा का विषय बन गई। प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार टीम ने पहले संस्थान को बंद कराने के निर्देश तो दिए, लेकिन परिसर पर प्रशासनिक सील लगाने के बजाय संचालक के निजी ताले लगवाकर औपचारिकता पूरी कर दी। इतना ही नहीं, तालों पर भी सील नहीं लगाई गई और टीम वहां से रवाना हो गई। इस कार्रवाई के फोटो और वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल होने के बाद प्रशासन हरकत में आया। इसके बाद अधिकारियों की टीम दोबारा मौके पर पहुंची और विधिवत सीलिंग की कार्रवाई कर संस्थान को बंद कराया।

शहर में बड़ी संख्या में ऐसे कोचिंग सेंटर और लाइब्रेरी संचालित होने की बात सामने आ रही है, जो सुरक्षा मानकों को ताक पर रखकर छात्रों को प्रवेश दे रहे हैं। अभिभावकों का कहना है कि बच्चों की सुरक्षा से समझौता किसी भी कीमत पर स्वीकार नहीं किया जा सकता और प्रशासन को केवल औपचारिक कार्रवाई के बजाय नियमित निरीक्षण कर ऐसे संस्थानों के खिलाफ कठोर कदम उठाने चाहिए।

सीएफओ अजय शर्मा ने बताया, "लखनऊ की घटना के बाद जनपद में सभी कोचिंग सेंटरों और लाइब्रेरी की सुरक्षा व्यवस्था की जांच कराई जा रही है। जिन संस्थानों में फायर एनओसी नहीं है या अग्नि सुरक्षा मानकों का पालन नहीं किया जा रहा है, उनके खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई की जा रही है। बच्चों की सुरक्षा सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है। किसी भी संस्थान को सुरक्षा मानकों से समझौता करने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।"

                        

After Lucknow Fire Tragedy, Hapur Administration Cracks Down on Coaching Centres and Libraries Operating Without Safety Norms

Hapur: Following the tragic Lucknow coaching centre fire incident that claimed the lives of 15 students, the Hapur administration launched a major crackdown against coaching centres and libraries allegedly operating without mandatory safety standards. Several institutions were sealed during a surprise inspection drive conducted by district authorities on Monday.

A joint team led by Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Ajay Sharma, Tehsildar Swati Gupta, Naib Tehsildar Shweta Tapadia, and Hapur Kotwali Inspector Manish Chauhan carried out inspections at various coaching centres and libraries across the city. During the drive, officials found serious violations, including the absence of fire safety equipment, lack of emergency exits, overcrowded classrooms, and non-compliance with basic safety regulations.

One of the major actions took place in the Sarai area, where authorities sealed a coaching centre and library after finding hundreds of students studying inside despite inadequate safety arrangements. Officials stated that the building lacked proper fire protection measures and emergency evacuation facilities. In the event of a fire or other emergency, the consequences could have been catastrophic.

The inspection drive also drew attention due to an incident at Vardhman Coaching Centre on Chandi Mandir Road. According to local sources, the inspection team initially ordered the premises to be sealed but allegedly left after the owner's locks were placed on the building without any official seal being affixed. After reports and videos of the alleged procedural lapse surfaced on social media, authorities returned to the site and carried out the sealing process properly.

Officials said that hundreds of coaching centres and libraries are operating across Hapur, many of them allegedly without adhering to mandatory safety norms. Concerns have been raised over institutions functioning without fire safety systems while accommodating large numbers of students, putting young lives at risk.

Parents and local residents have welcomed the administration's action, stating that student safety must be prioritized and that regular inspections should be conducted to prevent any future tragedy similar to the Lucknow fire incident.

Chief Fire Officer Ajay Sharma said, “Following the Lucknow tragedy, inspections are being conducted across the district to verify compliance with fire safety regulations. Strict action is being taken against institutions operating without Fire NOCs or adequate safety measures. The safety of students is our top priority, and no compromise will be tolerated in this regard.”

The administration's campaign has created concern among coaching centre operators across the city, prompting many institutions to review and strengthen their safety arrangements. Authorities have indicated that the inspection drive will continue in the coming days and that action will be taken against any institution found violating safety norms.
