जनता की समस्याओं पर फूटा कांग्रेस का गुस्सा, नगर पालिका कार्यालय का घेराव, ईओ से तीखी नोकझोंक

शहर में पेयजल, जलभराव, टूटी सड़कों और सफाई व्यवस्था समेत विभिन्न जनसमस्याओं को लेकर बुधवार को कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं का गुस्सा फूट पड़ा। कांग्रेस जिलाध्यक्ष राकेश त्यागी के नेतृत्व में बड़ी संख्या में कार्यकर्ताओं ने नगर पालिका परिषद कार्यालय पहुंचकर प्रदर्शन किया और अधिशासी अधिकारी (ईओ) कार्यालय का घेराव कर नगर पालिका की कार्यशैली के खिलाफ जमकर नारेबाजी की। इस दौरान कांग्रेस नेताओं और पालिका अधिकारियों के बीच तीखी बहस भी हुई।

कांग्रेस नेताओं का आरोप था कि शहर के विभिन्न वार्डों में लंबे समय से बुनियादी समस्याएं बनी हुई हैं, लेकिन नगर पालिका प्रशासन जनता की शिकायतों को गंभीरता से नहीं ले रहा है। वार्ड संख्या-18 सहित कई क्षेत्रों की समस्याओं को लेकर पहुंचे कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने कहा कि बार-बार शिकायत करने के बावजूद न तो सफाई व्यवस्था में सुधार हो रहा है और न ही विकास कार्यों को गति मिल रही है।

प्रदर्शन के दौरान उस समय माहौल गर्मा गया जब कांग्रेस जिलाध्यक्ष राकेश त्यागी ने ईओ से जनता की समस्याओं के संबंध में जवाब मांगा। कांग्रेस नेताओं का आरोप है कि जब भी वे जनहित के मुद्दों को लेकर नगर पालिका पहुंचते हैं, जिम्मेदार अधिकारी कार्यालय में उपलब्ध नहीं मिलते। इसी बात को लेकर ईओ और कांग्रेस नेताओं के बीच तीखी नोकझोंक हो गई।

बताया गया कि विवाद बढ़ने पर ईओ ने एक वरिष्ठ अधिकारी से फोन पर बात कराई। फोन पर हुई बातचीत के दौरान भी कांग्रेस जिलाध्यक्ष और संबंधित अधिकारी के बीच तीखी बहस हुई। अधिकारी द्वारा अवकाश पर होने की जानकारी दिए जाने पर राकेश त्यागी ने नाराजगी जताते हुए कहा कि जनता समस्याओं से जूझ रही है, लेकिन अधिकारी छुट्टियों और औपचारिकताओं में व्यस्त हैं।

प्रदर्शन को संबोधित करते हुए कांग्रेस जिलाध्यक्ष राकेश त्यागी ने कहा कि नगर पालिका की कार्यशैली पूरी तरह जनविरोधी हो चुकी है। शहर के अधिकांश वार्डों में गंदगी, टूटी सड़कें, जल निकासी की समस्या और पेयजल संकट जैसी परेशानियां लगातार बढ़ रही हैं, लेकिन जिम्मेदार अधिकारी समस्याओं के समाधान के बजाय कार्यालयों तक सीमित हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि जनता लगातार शिकायतें कर रही है, मगर उनकी सुनवाई नहीं हो रही।

राकेश त्यागी ने कहा, "हम जनता की आवाज लेकर नगर पालिका पहुंचे हैं। यह किसी राजनीतिक प्रदर्शन का विषय नहीं बल्कि शहरवासियों की मूलभूत समस्याओं का सवाल है। वार्ड संख्या-18 सहित कई मोहल्लों के लोग गंदगी, जलभराव, खराब सड़कों और अन्य समस्याओं से परेशान हैं। जब भी हम इन मुद्दों को लेकर अधिकारियों से मिलने आते हैं तो वे या तो कार्यालय में नहीं मिलते या फिर किसी न किसी बहाने से जिम्मेदारी से बचने का प्रयास करते हैं। यह बेहद दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण स्थिति है। 

भाजपा सरकार में अधिकारी जनता के प्रति जवाबदेह नहीं दिखाई दे रहे हैं। आम आदमी की सुनवाई नहीं हो रही। जनता टैक्स देती है और बदले में उसे बुनियादी सुविधाएं भी नहीं मिल पा रही हैं। कांग्रेस हमेशा जनता की आवाज उठाती रही है और आगे भी उठाती रहेगी। यदि नगर पालिका प्रशासन ने जल्द समस्याओं का समाधान नहीं किया तो कांग्रेस सड़क से लेकर सदन तक संघर्ष करेगी। हम शहर की जनता को उनके अधिकार दिलाने के लिए हर स्तर पर लड़ाई लड़ेंगे। अधिकारी जनता के सेवक हैं, शासक नहीं। उन्हें अपने वातानुकूलित कार्यालयों से निकलकर जनता के बीच जाना चाहिए और उनकी समस्याओं का समाधान करना चाहिए।"

कांग्रेस नेता नरेश भाटी ने भी नगर पालिका पर निशाना साधते हुए कहा कि शहर की हालत दिन-प्रतिदिन बदतर होती जा रही है। जगह-जगह गंदगी के ढेर लगे हैं, नालियां ओवरफ्लो हो रही हैं और नागरिक मूलभूत सुविधाओं के लिए परेशान हैं। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि नगर पालिका की कार्यशैली का लाभ जनता को कहीं दिखाई नहीं दे रहा है और लोग व्यवस्था से त्रस्त हैं।

प्रदर्शन के दौरान कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने नगर पालिका प्रशासन के खिलाफ नारेबाजी करते हुए चेतावनी दी कि यदि जल्द ही समस्याओं का समाधान नहीं किया गया तो आंदोलन को और तेज किया जाएगा। बाद में कांग्रेस प्रतिनिधिमंडल ने अधिकारियों को ज्ञापन सौंपकर शहर की समस्याओं के शीघ्र समाधान की मांग की।

                           

Congress Workers Lay Siege to Municipal EO Office Over Civic Issues, Heated Exchange Erupts in Hapur

Hapur: Congress workers staged a protest and laid siege to the office of the Executive Officer (EO) of the Municipal Council on Tuesday, raising concerns over various civic issues affecting residents. The protest, led by District Congress President Rakesh Tyagi, witnessed a heated exchange between Congress leaders and municipal officials.

According to Congress leaders, residents of several areas, particularly Ward No. 18, have been facing persistent problems related to sanitation, drainage, road conditions, and other basic civic amenities. They alleged that repeated complaints have failed to yield any concrete action from the municipal administration.

During the protest, Rakesh Tyagi accused municipal officials of remaining unavailable whenever public representatives approach them with citizens’ grievances. He claimed that responsible officers are often absent from their offices, making it difficult to address pressing public concerns.

The situation intensified when Tyagi sought answers from the EO regarding the unresolved issues. In an attempt to resolve the matter, the EO reportedly connected Tyagi with a senior official over the phone. However, the conversation soon turned into a heated argument.

When the official informed Tyagi that he was on leave, the Congress leader expressed strong dissatisfaction and alleged that officers under the BJP government remain unavailable while common citizens continue to suffer.

Speaking during the protest, Rakesh Tyagi said, “We have come here to raise the voice of the people. Citizens are struggling with poor sanitation, damaged roads, drainage issues and other civic problems, but the authorities are not taking these matters seriously. Whenever we approach officials, they are either unavailable or avoid responsibility. Public representatives are forced to run from office to office for even basic issues.”

He further alleged that administrative accountability has weakened and that common people are not receiving timely solutions to their problems. Tyagi stated that Congress would continue to fight for public rights and would intensify its agitation if the issues remain unresolved.

Congress leader Naresh Bhati also criticized the Municipal Council, claiming that the city's condition has deteriorated significantly. He alleged that sanitation services are inadequate, drains are overflowing in several areas, and residents are increasingly frustrated with the functioning of the civic body.

Congress workers raised slogans against the municipal administration and demanded immediate action on public grievances. They also warned of a larger agitation if the authorities fail to address the issues promptly.

Following the protest, a Congress delegation submitted a memorandum to the concerned officials, urging them to take swift action and ensure the resolution of civic problems faced by residents.
