राम मंदिर चढ़ावा घोटाले की निष्पक्ष जांच हो, कांग्रेस ने राज्यपाल को भेजा ज्ञापन

जिला एवं शहर कांग्रेस कमेटी के नेतृत्व में बुधवार को कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने नगर पालिका परिषद स्थित गांधी प्रतिमा पर एकत्र होकर अयोध्या स्थित श्रीराम मंदिर में चढ़ावे और आभूषणों की कथित चोरी के मामले की निष्पक्ष जांच कराने की मांग उठाई। इस दौरान कार्यकर्ताओं ने लखनऊ के एक कोचिंग सेंटर में आग लगने से 15 छात्रों की मौत पर शोकसभा आयोजित कर दो मिनट का मौन भी रखा।

कांग्रेस जिलाध्यक्ष राकेश त्यागी और शहर अध्यक्ष इरफान अहमद के नेतृत्व में कार्यकर्ताओं ने उप जिलाधिकारी ईला प्रकाश को राज्यपाल के नाम संबोधित ज्ञापन सौंपा। ज्ञापन में श्रीराम मंदिर में प्राप्त चढ़ावे और सोने-चांदी के आभूषणों से जुड़े कथित अनियमितताओं के मामले में उच्चस्तरीय एवं निष्पक्ष जांच कराने की मांग की गई।

राकेश त्यागी ने कहा कि देशभर से आने वाले श्रद्धालु अपनी आस्था के तहत मंदिर में चढ़ावा अर्पित करते हैं। ऐसे में चढ़ावे की चोरी और अनियमितताओं की खबरें सामने आना गंभीर विषय है। उन्होंने कहा कि मामले में पारदर्शी जांच कर दोषियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए।

शहर अध्यक्ष इरफान अहमद ने कहा कि जांच निष्पक्ष तरीके से होनी चाहिए ताकि पूरे मामले की सच्चाई सामने आ सके। कांग्रेस नेताओं ने आरोप लगाया कि सरकार इस मामले में पर्याप्त गंभीरता नहीं दिखा रही है।

इससे पहले कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने लखनऊ के कोचिंग सेंटर में आग लगने से हुई 15 छात्रों की मौत पर दुख व्यक्त किया। 

राकेश त्यागी ने घटना के लिए प्रशासनिक लापरवाही को जिम्मेदार बताते हुए कहा कि हापुड़ में भी बिना आवश्यक मानकों और एनओसी के कई कोचिंग सेंटर संचालित हो रहे हैं, जिनकी जांच कर आवश्यक कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए। प्रदर्शन के दौरान कार्यकर्ताओं ने विभिन्न नारों के माध्यम से अपनी मांगें उठाईं। कार्यक्रम में पार्टी के कई पदाधिकारी एवं कार्यकर्ता मौजूद रहे।

                     

Congress Submits Memorandum to Governor Over Alleged Ram Temple Offering Scam, Mourns Death of 15 Students in Lucknow Fire

Hapur, June 24: Members of the District and City Congress Committee gathered at the Gandhi statue located at Nagar Palika Parishad on Wednesday and expressed deep sorrow over the death of 15 students in a fire incident at a coaching centre in Lucknow. Congress leaders held a condolence meeting and observed a two-minute silence to pray for the peace of the departed souls.

District Congress President Rakesh Tyagi blamed the administration and the state government for the tragedy, alleging negligence in monitoring educational institutions. He said that hundreds of coaching centres in Hapur are still operating without proper No Objection Certificates (NOCs) and warned that a similar incident could occur if authorities fail to take timely action.

Later, under the joint leadership of District Congress President Rakesh Tyagi and City Congress President Irfan Ahmad, Congress workers reached the Sub-Divisional Magistrate’s office and submitted a memorandum addressed to the Governor through SDM Ila Prakash.

In the memorandum, Congress leaders demanded a fair and high-level investigation into the alleged theft and irregularities involving donations, cash offerings, and gold and silver ornaments received at the Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

Rakesh Tyagi stated that millions of devotees from across the country visit the temple and make offerings out of faith. Therefore, reports of theft or mismanagement of temple donations have raised serious concerns among devotees. He questioned how such incidents could occur and sought transparency regarding the action taken by the government following the SIT probe.

City Congress President Irfan Ahmad urged the Governor to ensure an impartial and high-level inquiry so that the truth behind the alleged irregularities can be brought before the public. He said the investigation should be conducted transparently and without any influence.

Garh Nagar President Mukesh Kaushik claimed that public confidence had been affected by reports related to the alleged mismanagement of temple offerings. He also referred to media reports regarding a decline in donations and demanded that all facts be thoroughly examined.

During the protest, Congress workers raised slogans against the BJP-led governments at the Centre and in the state and reiterated their demand for a transparent investigation into the matter.

Several party leaders and workers, including advocates, district office-bearers, and representatives of various Congress cells and departments, were present on the occasion.
