धौलाना औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में आग का तांडव, पेंट फैक्ट्री से उठीं लपटों ने पैकेज्ड वाटर यूनिट को भी निगला

यूपीएसआईडीसी फेज-1 स्थित औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में गुरुवार को हुए भीषण अग्निकांड से पूरे इलाके में हड़कंप मच गया। एक पेंट निर्माण फैक्ट्री में अचानक भड़की आग ने देखते ही देखते विकराल रूप धारण कर लिया और पास स्थित पैकेज्ड वाटर फैक्ट्री को भी अपनी चपेट में ले लिया। आग की ऊंची-ऊंची लपटें और आसमान में छाया काले धुएं का गुबार कई किलोमीटर दूर से दिखाई देता रहा। घटना के बाद आसपास की फैक्ट्रियों में काम कर रहे कर्मचारियों में अफरा-तफरी मच गई और लोग अपनी जान बचाने के लिए बाहर की ओर दौड़ पड़े।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार दोपहर के समय पेंट फैक्ट्री के भीतर अचानक धुआं उठता दिखाई दिया। कुछ ही देर में आग ने फैक्ट्री के बड़े हिस्से को अपनी गिरफ्त में ले लिया। पेंट और अन्य ज्वलनशील पदार्थों की मौजूदगी के कारण आग तेजी से फैलती चली गई। आग की भयावहता का अंदाजा इसी बात से लगाया जा सकता है कि चंद मिनटों में लपटें पास स्थित पैकेज्ड वाटर फैक्ट्री तक पहुंच गईं, जिससे वहां भी आग लग गई।

सूचना मिलते ही दमकल विभाग, स्थानीय पुलिस और प्रशासनिक अधिकारी तत्काल मौके पर पहुंचे। हालात की गंभीरता को देखते हुए दमकल विभाग की पांच गाड़ियों को आग बुझाने के लिए लगाया गया। अग्निशमन कर्मियों ने कई घंटों तक कड़ी मशक्कत करते हुए आग पर काबू पाने का प्रयास किया। इस दौरान दमकल कर्मचारियों ने आग को अन्य फैक्ट्रियों तक फैलने से रोकने के लिए लगातार पानी की बौछारें कीं और सुरक्षा घेरा बनाए रखा।

मुख्य अग्निशमन अधिकारी अजय शर्मा ने बताया कि सूचना मिलते ही दमकल विभाग की टीमें मौके पर रवाना कर दी गई थीं। फैक्ट्री परिसर में बड़ी मात्रा में ज्वलनशील सामग्री मौजूद होने के कारण आग तेजी से फैली, लेकिन समय रहते दमकल कर्मियों ने स्थिति को नियंत्रित करने की दिशा में प्रभावी कार्रवाई की। उन्होंने कहा कि राहत एवं बचाव अभियान के दौरान कर्मचारियों और आसपास मौजूद लोगों की सुरक्षा को सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता दी गई।

अग्निकांड के दौरान प्रशासन ने एहतियातन आसपास की औद्योगिक इकाइयों को अलर्ट कर दिया। कई फैक्ट्रियों से कर्मचारियों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकाला गया, जबकि क्षेत्र में अनावश्यक आवाजाही पर भी रोक लगा दी गई ताकि राहत कार्य में किसी प्रकार की बाधा न आए। पुलिसकर्मियों ने मौके पर भीड़ को नियंत्रित करते हुए सुरक्षा व्यवस्था संभाली।

गनीमत रही कि इस भीषण अग्निकांड में किसी प्रकार की जनहानि नहीं हुई। हालांकि दोनों फैक्ट्रियों में रखी मशीनरी, कच्चा माल और तैयार उत्पादों को भारी नुकसान पहुंचने की आशंका जताई जा रही है। आग की तीव्रता को देखते हुए करोड़ों रुपये के नुकसान की संभावना से भी इनकार नहीं किया जा सकता। वास्तविक क्षति का आंकलन आग पूरी तरह बुझने और तकनीकी निरीक्षण के बाद ही स्पष्ट हो सकेगा।

सीएफओ अजय शर्मा ने बताया कि आग लगने के कारणों की विस्तृत जांच कराई जाएगी। प्रारंभिक तौर पर शॉर्ट सर्किट या किसी तकनीकी खराबी की संभावना जताई जा रही है, लेकिन जांच पूरी होने के बाद ही वास्तविक कारण सामने आएगा। फिलहाल दमकल विभाग की टीमें मौके पर निगरानी बनाए हुए हैं और यह सुनिश्चित किया जा रहा है कि आग दोबारा न भड़के।

धौलाना के औद्योगिक क्षेत्र में हुए इस बड़े अग्निकांड ने एक बार फिर फैक्ट्रियों में अग्नि सुरक्षा मानकों और आपदा प्रबंधन तैयारियों पर सवाल खड़े कर दिए हैं। जनहानि टल जाना राहत की बात है, लेकिन इस घटना ने उद्योग संचालकों को सुरक्षा उपायों के प्रति और अधिक सतर्क रहने की चेतावनी भी दे दी है।

Massive Fire Breaks Out in Dhaulana Industrial Area, Paint Factory Blaze Engulfs Packaged Water Unit

Dhaulana (Hapur): Panic gripped the UPSIDC Phase-1 Industrial Area in Dhaulana on Thursday after a massive fire suddenly broke out at a paint manufacturing factory. Within minutes, the blaze intensified and spread to a nearby packaged drinking water factory, sending huge flames and thick black smoke billowing into the sky. The smoke plume was visible from several kilometers away, creating alarm across the entire industrial belt.

According to eyewitnesses, smoke was first noticed emerging from the paint factory during the afternoon. Due to the presence of highly flammable materials, the fire spread rapidly through the premises. The intensity of the blaze soon allowed it to reach an adjacent packaged water unit, causing extensive damage there as well.

Upon receiving information about the incident, teams from the Fire Department, local police, and district administration rushed to the scene. Considering the severity of the situation, five fire tenders were deployed to control the fire. Firefighters battled the flames for several hours and worked continuously to prevent the blaze from spreading to other industrial units in the vicinity.

Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Ajay Sharma stated that fire crews were dispatched immediately after the alert was received. He said the presence of combustible materials inside the factory contributed to the rapid spread of the fire. However, timely intervention by fire personnel helped contain the situation and prevent a larger disaster. Ensuring the safety of workers and nearby establishments remained the top priority throughout the operation.

As a precautionary measure, nearby factories were alerted and employees from several units were safely evacuated. Authorities also restricted movement in and around the affected area to facilitate uninterrupted firefighting and rescue operations. Police personnel were deployed to manage crowds and maintain law and order at the site.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident. However, significant losses are feared as machinery, raw materials, and finished products stored in both factories were reportedly damaged in the fire. The exact extent of the losses will be assessed after the fire is completely extinguished and a detailed technical inspection is carried out.

CFO Ajay Sharma said that the cause of the fire will be thoroughly investigated. Preliminary assessments suggest that a short circuit or technical malfunction could be responsible, but the actual cause will only be confirmed after the investigation is completed.

Fire department teams continue to monitor the site to ensure that the flames do not reignite. The major industrial fire has once again raised concerns about fire safety measures and emergency preparedness in industrial units. While the absence of casualties is a major relief, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of strict compliance with fire safety norms in industrial establishments.
