हाईवे पर खड़ी बस से उतर रहे यात्रियों को कंटेनर ने रौंदा, बच्ची व युवती की मौत, दर्जनभर घायल

दिल्ली-लखनऊ राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर थाना देहात क्षेत्र में मंगलवार को हुए दर्दनाक सड़क हादसे ने लोगों को झकझोर कर रख दिया। तकनीकी खराबी के कारण रास्ते में रुकी रोडवेज बस से उतर रहे यात्रियों को तेज रफ्तार कंटेनर ट्रक ने टक्कर मार दी। हादसे में एक मासूम बच्ची और एक युवती की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई, जबकि करीब एक दर्जन यात्री घायल हो गए। घायलों को उपचार के लिए विभिन्न अस्पतालों में भर्ती कराया गया है।

जानकारी के अनुसार रोडवेज बस दिल्ली से लखनऊ की ओर जा रही थी। रास्ते में बस में तकनीकी खराबी आने पर चालक ने वाहन को हाईवे किनारे रोक दिया। बताया जा रहा है कि कुछ यात्री बस से नीचे उतरकर दूसरी व्यवस्था की प्रतीक्षा कर रहे थे। इसी दौरान पीछे से आ रहा तेज रफ्तार कंटेनर अनियंत्रित हो गया और सड़क पर मौजूद यात्रियों को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया।

टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि मौके पर अफरा-तफरी मच गई। कई यात्री सड़क पर गिरकर घायल हो गए। हादसे के बाद आसपास के लोगों और राहगीरों ने तुरंत राहत कार्य शुरू किया तथा घायलों को एंबुलेंस और निजी वाहनों की मदद से अस्पताल पहुंचाया।

सूचना मिलते ही थाना देहात पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और राहत एवं बचाव कार्य संभाला। पुलिस ने मृतकों के शव कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिए हैं। हादसे के कारण हाईवे पर कुछ समय के लिए यातायात भी प्रभावित रहा। 

प्रभारी का कहना है कि दुर्घटना के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है। बस को सड़क पर किस परिस्थिति में रोका गया और कंटेनर चालक की भूमिका क्या रही, इसकी विस्तृत पड़ताल की जाएगी। घायलों का उपचार जारी है और उनकी स्थिति पर चिकित्सकों की निगरानी बनी हुई है।

                                  

Two Killed, Several Injured as Speeding Container Truck Runs Over Passengers on Delhi-Lucknow Highway in Hapur

A tragic road accident on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway under the Dehat Police Station area of Hapur district claimed the lives of a young girl and a woman, while nearly a dozen passengers sustained injuries. The incident occurred when passengers were getting off a roadways bus that had reportedly developed a technical fault.

According to preliminary information, the roadways bus was moving at a slow speed after experiencing a mechanical problem. It is alleged that the driver stopped the bus on the highway and asked passengers to disembark while informing them about the breakdown. As passengers gathered on the roadside, a speeding container truck approaching from behind allegedly lost control and rammed into them.

Eyewitnesses said the truck was moving at a very high speed, leaving the passengers with little time to react. The impact caused panic and chaos at the scene, with several people being thrown onto the road. The truck reportedly ran over multiple passengers before coming to a halt.

A minor girl and a young woman died on the spot due to the severity of their injuries. Nearly a dozen other passengers were injured in the accident and were immediately rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Medical officials said some of the injured are in critical condition and are being closely monitored.

Following the accident, local residents and passersby rushed to help the victims and assisted in transporting the injured to hospitals. Police and emergency response teams also reached the spot soon after receiving information and launched rescue and relief operations.

The accident led to heavy traffic disruption on the highway for some time. Police have taken the vehicles involved into custody and initiated an investigation. Authorities are examining all aspects of the incident, including the circumstances under which the bus was stopped and the role of the container truck driver.

Officials stated that appropriate legal action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation. The tragic incident has once again raised concerns about highway safety measures and the precautions required when vehicles break down on busy roads.
