थानों में अग्नि सुरक्षा इंतजाम नाकाफी, आग लगने की स्थिति में बढ़ सकता है खतरा

जिले के कई थाना और कोतवाली परिसरों में अग्नि सुरक्षा व्यवस्था संतोषजनक नहीं दिख रही है। शुक्रवार को विभिन्न थानों की स्थिति का जायजा लेने पर सामने आया कि कई स्थानों पर लगे अग्निशामक यंत्र या तो समय पर रिफिल नहीं कराए गए हैं या उनकी वैधता अवधि समाप्त हो चुकी है।

                         

जानकारी के अनुसार, अधिकांश थानों में आग से निपटने के लिए जरूरी संसाधनों का अभाव है। कई जगह रेत से भरी बाल्टियां और अन्य प्राथमिक अग्निशमन उपकरण भी उपलब्ध नहीं मिले। ऐसे में यदि किसी थाने में आग जैसी आपात स्थिति उत्पन्न होती है, तो पुलिसकर्मियों को सीमित संसाधनों के सहारे ही हालात का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।

सुरक्षा व्यवस्था को लेकर यह भी सवाल उठ रहे हैं कि मालखानों और महत्वपूर्ण दस्तावेजों की सुरक्षा के लिए पर्याप्त अग्नि सुरक्षा इंतजाम नहीं हैं। विशेषज्ञों का मानना है कि समय-समय पर अग्निशामक उपकरणों की जांच और रखरखाव जरूरी है, ताकि किसी भी आपदा की स्थिति में नुकसान को कम किया जा सके।

Hapur: Fire safety preparedness at several police stations and police circles in the district appears to be inadequate. During an inspection conducted on Friday, it was observed that many fire extinguishers installed inside police premises had either expired or had not been serviced within the required time.

Reports indicate that several stations also lack basic firefighting equipment such as sand buckets and other emergency fire response resources. In the event of a fire, police personnel may have to deal with the situation using limited available facilities, potentially increasing the risk of damage.

Concerns have also been raised over the fire safety measures in areas like evidence storage rooms and record sections, where important documents and seized property are kept. Experts emphasize that regular maintenance and timely replacement of firefighting equipment are essential to ensure effective emergency response and safeguard both personnel and property.
