दिल्ली-लखनऊ हाईवे पर दौड़ते ट्रक में लगी भीषण आग, धू-धू कर जला वाहन; घंटों मशक्कत के बाद काबू

जनपद हापुड़ के थाना सिंभावली क्षेत्र में दिल्ली-लखनऊ राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग पर उस समय अफरा-तफरी मच गई, जब एक ट्रक में अचानक भीषण आग लग गई। देखते ही देखते आग ने पूरे वाहन को अपनी चपेट में ले लिया और ट्रक धू-धू कर जलने लगा। हाईवे पर उठती आग की ऊंची लपटों और धुएं के गुबार को देखकर राहगीरों में हड़कंप मच गया।

                      

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार ट्रक में आग लगते ही चालक ने सूझबूझ का परिचय देते हुए वाहन को सड़क किनारे रोक लिया और सुरक्षित बाहर निकल आया। कुछ ही देर में आग ने विकराल रूप धारण कर लिया, जिससे ट्रक का अधिकांश हिस्सा जलकर खाक हो गया। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय पुलिस और दमकल विभाग की टीम मौके पर पहुंची।

दमकल कर्मियों ने कड़ी मशक्कत करते हुए आग बुझाने का अभियान शुरू किया। काफी प्रयास के बाद आग पर काबू पाया जा सका। आग लगने के दौरान हाईवे पर कुछ समय के लिए यातायात भी प्रभावित रहा और वाहनों की लंबी कतारें लग गईं। पुलिस ने यातायात को सुचारु बनाए रखने के लिए आवश्यक कदम उठाए।

प्रारंभिक आशंका शॉर्ट सर्किट अथवा तकनीकी खराबी की जताई जा रही है, हालांकि आग लगने के वास्तविक कारणों की जांच की जा रही है। गनीमत रही कि इस घटना में कोई जनहानि नहीं हुई, लेकिन ट्रक को भारी नुकसान पहुंचा है। पुलिस और दमकल विभाग पूरे मामले की जांच में जुटे हैं।

Hapur: Panic spread on the Delhi-Lucknow Highway in the Simbhawali police station area of Hapur district after a truck suddenly caught fire. Within minutes, the flames engulfed the entire vehicle, creating a chaotic situation on the busy highway.

According to eyewitnesses, the truck driver acted swiftly after noticing the fire and managed to stop the vehicle on the roadside before safely escaping. The blaze intensified rapidly, and the truck was soon completely engulfed in flames. Thick smoke and towering flames were visible from a considerable distance, drawing the attention of commuters and local residents.

Upon receiving information about the incident, police and fire department teams rushed to the spot. Firefighters launched an extensive operation and, after strenuous efforts, succeeded in bringing the fire under control. Traffic movement on the highway was temporarily affected as authorities managed the situation and ensured the safety of passing vehicles.

Fortunately, no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident. However, the truck suffered extensive damage and was almost completely destroyed by the fire.

Preliminary investigations suggest that a short circuit or technical malfunction may have triggered the blaze, though the exact cause is yet to be determined. Police and fire officials are conducting a detailed inquiry into the incident.
