12 दिन बंद रहा फ्लाईओवर, 35 लाख खर्च के बाद भी नहीं सुधरे हालात; कई जगह गड्ढे और ज्वाइंट में गैप बरकरार

हापुड़: मेरठ रोड फ्लाईओवर की मरम्मत के लिए करीब 12 दिनों तक यातायात बंद रखा गया और इस दौरान लाखों रुपये खर्च किए गए। इसके बावजूद पुल की स्थिति को लेकर लोगों में असंतोष बना हुआ है। कई हिस्सों में अब भी ज्वाइंट्स के बीच गैप दिखाई दे रहे हैं, जबकि सड़क पर बने गड्ढे वाहन चालकों के लिए परेशानी और संभावित दुर्घटना का कारण बने हुए हैं।

                        

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि जिन स्थानों पर मरम्मत का कार्य किया गया, वहां भी सड़क पूरी तरह समतल नहीं है। जानकारी के अनुसार, पुल पर केवल छह ज्वाइंट्स की मरम्मत की गई है, जबकि अन्य कई स्थानों पर अब भी दरारें और गैप मौजूद हैं।

मोदीनगर की ओर जाने वाले हिस्से में भी सड़क की हालत संतोषजनक नहीं बताई जा रही है। छोटे वाहनों और दोपहिया चालकों को सबसे अधिक दिक्कत का सामना करना पड़ रहा है। वहीं, एंबुलेंस जैसी आपातकालीन सेवाओं की आवाजाही भी प्रभावित होने की शिकायतें सामने आई हैं।

स्थिति को और चुनौतीपूर्ण इसलिए माना जा रहा है क्योंकि मेरठ रोड रेलवे लाइन के नीचे बना अंडरपास अभी तक चालू नहीं किया गया है। ऐसे में फ्लाईओवर पर समस्या होने की स्थिति में लोगों के पास वैकल्पिक मार्ग उपलब्ध नहीं है।

अधिशासी अभियंता शैलेंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि जिन छह स्थानों को पहले चिह्नित किया गया था, वहां ज्वाइंट बदलने का कार्य पूरा कर दिया गया है। उन्होंने कहा कि दोबारा निरीक्षण कराया जाएगा और जहां भी अतिरिक्त मरम्मत की आवश्यकता होगी, वहां जल्द कार्रवाई की जाएगी ताकि लोगों को आवागमन में परेशानी न हो।

                                

Flyover Closed for 12 Days, ₹3.5 Million Spent, Yet Potholes and Expansion Joint Gaps Remain

Hapur: The Meerut Road flyover remained closed for nearly 12 days for repair work, during which around ₹35 lakh was spent. However, commuters say the condition of the bridge has not improved significantly, as several expansion joint gaps and potholes are still visible at multiple locations.

Residents and regular commuters claim that even the repaired stretches are not completely smooth. Reports indicate that only six expansion joints were repaired, while several other damaged joints continue to require attention.

The stretch leading toward Modinagar is also reported to be in poor condition, causing inconvenience to motorists, especially two-wheelers and small vehicles. Emergency vehicles, including ambulances, are also facing difficulties while crossing the flyover due to the uneven surface.

The situation has become more challenging because the railway underpass on Meerut Road beneath the flyover is still not operational. As a result, commuters currently have no alternate route if traffic is disrupted on the bridge.

Executive Engineer Shailendra Singh stated that the six identified expansion joints have been replaced. He added that the flyover will be inspected again, and any additional repair work found necessary will be carried out to ensure safer and smoother traffic movement.
