करोड़ों की लागत से बना मनोरंजन पार्क अब भी बंद, लोगों में नाराजगी

गढ़मुक्तेश्वर क्षेत्र के ब्रजघाट में पर्यटन को बढ़ावा देने के उद्देश्य से तैयार किया गया मनोरंजन पार्क वर्षों बाद भी आम लोगों के लिए नहीं खुल पाया है। लगभग 3.12 करोड़ रुपये की लागत से विकसित यह पार्क करीब पांच साल पहले बनकर तैयार हो गया था, लेकिन आज भी इसके मुख्य द्वार पर ताला लटका हुआ है।

स्थानीय लोगों के अनुसार पार्क में लगाए गए झूले और मनोरंजन संबंधी उपकरण लंबे समय से उपयोग न होने के कारण खराब होने लगे हैं। रखरखाव की कमी के चलते कई स्थानों पर जंग लगने के भी संकेत दिखाई दे रहे हैं।

ब्रजघाट से लगभग डेढ़ किलोमीटर दूर स्थित इस पार्क को बच्चों, पर्यटकों और स्थानीय परिवारों के मनोरंजन के लिए विकसित किया गया था। उम्मीद थी कि इससे क्षेत्र में पर्यटन गतिविधियों को नई पहचान मिलेगी, लेकिन अब तक इसका लाभ लोगों को नहीं मिल सका है।

क्षेत्रवासियों का कहना है कि बाहर से आने वाले पर्यटक पार्क देखने पहुंचते हैं, लेकिन बंद गेट देखकर उन्हें निराश होकर लौटना पड़ता है। लोगों का आरोप है कि पर्यटन विकास से जुड़ी कई परियोजनाएं या तो अधूरी रह गईं या फिर शुरू होने के बाद बंद हो गईं, जिससे सरकारी निवेश का अपेक्षित लाभ जनता तक नहीं पहुंच रहा है।

जानकारी के अनुसार पार्क का निर्माण कार्य पूरा होने के बाद इसे नगर पालिका को सौंप दिया गया था, लेकिन संचालन की प्रक्रिया आगे नहीं बढ़ सकी। इस कारण वर्षों बाद भी पार्क आम जनता के लिए शुरू नहीं हो पाया।

प्रशासनिक अधिकारियों का कहना है कि क्षेत्र में कराए गए विकास कार्यों की समीक्षा की जा रही है और संबंधित परियोजनाओं की रिपोर्ट तैयार कर उच्च अधिकारियों को भेजी जाएगी। वहीं नगर पालिका का कहना है कि पार्क के संचालन के लिए इसे लीज पर देने का प्रस्ताव पारित किया जा चुका है और आवश्यक प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद इसे शुरू करने का प्रयास किया जाएगा।

                                

Multi-Crore Recreation Park Remains Closed Years After Completion

A recreation park developed near Brajghat in Garhmukteshwar to promote tourism has remained inaccessible to the public despite being completed several years ago. Built at an estimated cost of ₹3.12 crore, the facility was expected to become a major attraction for visitors and local residents.

However, even after nearly five years, the park has not been opened for regular use. Local residents claim that playground equipment, swings, and other installations are deteriorating due to a lack of maintenance and prolonged closure.

The park, located around 1.5 kilometers from Brajghat, was designed to provide entertainment and recreational opportunities for children, families, and tourists. Authorities had hoped it would contribute to the growth of tourism in the region, but the project has yet to achieve its intended purpose.

Visitors traveling from nearby and distant areas reportedly return disappointed after finding the entrance locked. Residents have also expressed concerns that several tourism-related development projects in the area have either stalled or failed to deliver expected benefits.

Officials state that a review of tourism and infrastructure projects is underway and reports will be submitted to higher authorities. Municipal representatives have indicated that a proposal to lease the park for operation has already been approved, and efforts are being made to complete the formalities required to make the facility functional in the near future.
