718 कन्याओं का होगा सामूहिक विवाह, तैयारियों में जुटा प्रशासन

मुख्यमंत्री सामूहिक विवाह योजना के अंतर्गत इस वर्ष जिले में बड़ी संख्या में बेटियों के हाथ पीले किए जाएंगे। समाज कल्याण विभाग द्वारा आयोजित होने वाले सामूहिक विवाह समारोह में कुल 718 कन्याओं के विवाह का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया गया है। योजना के सफल संचालन के लिए विभागीय स्तर पर तैयारियां शुरू कर दी गई हैं और पात्र लाभार्थियों से आवेदन प्राप्त करने की प्रक्रिया भी जारी है।

जिला समाज कल्याण विभाग के अनुसार अब तक 258 आवेदन प्राप्त हो चुके हैं। इन आवेदनों की जांच और सत्यापन का कार्य संबंधित विकास खंड अधिकारियों (बीडीओ) और नगर निकायों के अधिशासी अधिकारियों (ईओ) द्वारा किया जा रहा है। सत्यापन प्रक्रिया पूरी होने के बाद पात्र लाभार्थियों की अंतिम सूची तैयार की जाएगी, जिसके आधार पर सामूहिक विवाह समारोह आयोजित होगा।

इस बार योजना में एक महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव भी किया गया है। बढ़ती महंगाई और चांदी के दामों में लगातार हो रही वृद्धि को देखते हुए नवविवाहित दुल्हनों को पहले की तरह चांदी की पायल और बिछुआ उपलब्ध नहीं कराए जाएंगे। इसके स्थान पर शासन ने लाभार्थी कन्याओं को आर्थिक सहायता के रूप में चार हजार रुपये की अतिरिक्त राशि सीधे उनके बैंक खाते में भेजने का निर्णय लिया है। इससे लाभार्थी अपनी आवश्यकता और सुविधा के अनुसार राशि का उपयोग कर सकेंगी।

जिला समाज कल्याण अधिकारी दिग्विजय सिंह ने बताया कि मुख्यमंत्री सामूहिक विवाह योजना के आयोजन को लेकर सभी आवश्यक व्यवस्थाएं की जा रही हैं। शासन की ओर से जारी दिशा-निर्देशों का पूरी तरह पालन करते हुए कार्यक्रम संपन्न कराया जाएगा। उन्होंने कहा कि प्राप्त आवेदनों का सत्यापन निष्पक्ष और पारदर्शी तरीके से कराया जा रहा है ताकि योजना का लाभ केवल पात्र परिवारों तक ही पहुंचे।

उन्होंने यह भी बताया कि सामूहिक विवाह योजना आर्थिक रूप से कमजोर परिवारों के लिए बड़ी राहत साबित हो रही है। इस योजना के माध्यम से न केवल विवाह संबंधी खर्च का बोझ कम होता है, बल्कि सरकार द्वारा दी जाने वाली आर्थिक सहायता से नवदंपतियों को नए जीवन की शुरुआत करने में भी मदद मिलती है। प्रशासन का लक्ष्य है कि सभी पात्र लाभार्थियों को योजना का लाभ समय पर उपलब्ध कराया जाए और समारोह को भव्य एवं सुव्यवस्थित ढंग से आयोजित किया जाए।

                            

718 Brides to Tie the Knot Under Mass Marriage Scheme, Administration Begins Preparations

The district administration has started preparations for the implementation of the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme, under which 718 eligible brides are expected to get married in a grand community wedding ceremony this year. The Social Welfare Department has initiated the process and is currently accepting and verifying applications from eligible beneficiaries.

According to officials, 258 applications have been received so far. These applications are being scrutinized and verified by Block Development Officers (BDOs) and Executive Officers (EOs) of local urban bodies. After the verification process is completed, a final list of eligible beneficiaries will be prepared for participation in the mass marriage event.

A significant change has been introduced in the scheme this year. Due to the rising cost of silver and increasing market prices, brides will no longer receive traditional silver anklets and toe rings that were previously provided under the scheme. Instead, the government has decided to transfer an additional ₹4,000 directly into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, allowing them to utilize the amount according to their personal needs and preferences.

District Social Welfare Officer Digvijay Singh stated that all necessary arrangements are being made to ensure the smooth conduct of the event. He said the ceremony will be organized strictly in accordance with government guidelines and that the verification process is being carried out transparently to ensure that only eligible families receive the benefits of the scheme.

Officials believe that the Chief Minister's Mass Marriage Scheme continues to provide substantial support to economically weaker families by reducing the financial burden associated with weddings. In addition to assisting families, the scheme also offers financial aid to newly married couples, helping them begin their new lives with greater security and confidence.

The administration aims to ensure that all eligible beneficiaries receive the scheme's benefits on time and that the mass marriage ceremony is conducted in a well-organized and dignified manner.
