भैंस चोरी करने वाले अंतर्राज्यीय गिरोह का भंडाफोड़, चोरी की भैंस समेत तीन बदमाश गिरफ्तार

बाबूगढ़ थाना पुलिस ने पशु चोरी की वारदात का सफल खुलासा करते हुए अंतर्राज्यीय गिरोह के तीन शातिर सदस्यों को गिरफ्तार किया है। पुलिस ने आरोपितों के कब्जे से चोरी की गई एक भैंस, घटना में प्रयुक्त पिकअप वाहन, एक तमंचा, जिंदा कारतूस और एक चाकू बरामद किया है। पुलिस की इस कार्रवाई से क्षेत्र में सक्रिय पशु चोर गिरोह पर बड़ी चोट मानी जा रही है।

थाना प्रभारी के अनुसार थाना बाबूगढ़ में दर्ज पशु चोरी के मुकदमे की जांच के दौरान मुखबिर की सूचना पर कार्रवाई करते हुए तीन आरोपितों को गिरफ्तार किया गया। गिरफ्तार आरोपितों की पहचान सुहैल पुत्र जाहिद निवासी लोनी जनपद गाजियाबाद, इरशाद पुत्र दिलशाद निवासी शामली हाल निवासी हरिद्वार तथा आरिश पुत्र जहीर निवासी मसूरी जनपद गाजियाबाद के रूप में हुई है।

पूछताछ में आरोपितों ने पशु चोरी की घटना में अपनी संलिप्तता स्वीकार की। उनकी निशानदेही पर चोरी की गई काले रंग की भैंस बरामद कर ली गई। इसके अलावा चोरी की वारदात को अंजाम देने में इस्तेमाल की गई टाटा इंट्रा पिकअप गाड़ी संख्या DL1LAM-0136 भी पुलिस ने कब्जे में ले ली।

तलाशी के दौरान आरोपी इरशाद के पास से 315 बोर का एक तमंचा और एक जिंदा कारतूस बरामद हुआ, जबकि आरिश के कब्जे से एक चाकू मिला। बरामदगी के आधार पर दोनों आरोपितों के खिलाफ आर्म्स एक्ट के तहत अलग से मुकदमा दर्ज किया गया है। वहीं मूल पशु चोरी के मुकदमे में भी संबंधित धाराओं की बढ़ोत्तरी की गई है। 

पुलिस जांच में सामने आया है कि गिरफ्तार आरोपी अलग-अलग जनपदों और राज्यों में सक्रिय रहकर पशु चोरी की घटनाओं को अंजाम देते थे। गिरोह चोरी किए गए पशुओं को दूसरे क्षेत्रों में ले जाकर बेच देता था। पुलिस अब गिरोह के अन्य सदस्यों और इनके नेटवर्क की जानकारी जुटाने में लगी है।

थाना प्रभारी ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार आरोपितों का आपराधिक इतिहास भी सामने आया है। इनमें इरशाद के खिलाफ पूर्व में भी पशु चोरी से संबंधित मुकदमे दर्ज हैं। तीनों आरोपितों को न्यायालय में पेश कर जेल भेज दिया गया है।

                            

Inter-State Cattle Theft Gang Busted in Hapur, Three Arrested with Stolen Buffalo and Weapons

Hapur: In a major breakthrough, Babugarh Police of Hapur district successfully uncovered a cattle theft case and arrested three members of an inter-state gang involved in animal theft. Police recovered a stolen buffalo, a pickup vehicle used in the crime, an illegal firearm, live ammunition, and a knife from the accused.

According to police, the arrests were made while investigating Case Crime No. 199/26 registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) at Babugarh Police Station. The accused have been identified as Suhail (24), son of Zahid, a resident of Loni in Ghaziabad district; Irshad (26), son of Dilshad, originally from Shamli district and currently residing in Haridwar, Uttarakhand; and Arish (22), son of Zaheer, a resident of Masuri in Ghaziabad district.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in the buffalo theft. Acting on their information, police recovered the stolen black buffalo along with the pickup vehicle bearing registration number DL1LAM-0136, which was allegedly used to transport the animal after the theft.

Police also recovered a .315 bore country-made pistol and one live cartridge from Irshad, while a knife was recovered from Arish. Based on these recoveries, a separate case under the Arms Act has been registered against the two accused. Additional sections have also been added to the original cattle theft case.

Investigators revealed that the gang was operating across multiple districts and states, targeting livestock owners and stealing cattle for illegal resale. The arrested suspects were allegedly involved in transporting stolen animals to different locations to avoid detection.

Police records show that some of the accused have previous criminal cases related to theft and other offenses. Officials are now probing the gang’s wider network and possible involvement in similar incidents across the region.

One stolen black buffalo

One Tata Intra pickup vehicle (DL1LAM-0136)

One knife

One .315 bore country-made pistol

One live .315 bore cartridge

The accused have been produced before the court and sent to judicial custody. Police officials stated that efforts are underway to identify and arrest other members associated with the gang.
