कांवड़ यात्रा की तैयारियों में जुटा पुलिस प्रशासन, गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे का निरीक्षण कर सुरक्षा व्यवस्था परखी

आगामी कांवड़ यात्रा एवं श्रावण शिवरात्रि पर्व को सकुशल, सुरक्षित और व्यवस्थित ढंग से संपन्न कराने के लिए पुलिस प्रशासन ने तैयारियां तेज कर दी हैं। इसी क्रम में शनिवार को अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक हापुड़ विनीत भटनागर तथा पुलिस अधीक्षक नगर मेरठ ने गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे का संयुक्त भ्रमण कर कांवड़ यात्रा मार्ग का स्थलीय निरीक्षण किया। अधिकारियों ने यात्रा मार्ग पर सुरक्षा, यातायात प्रबंधन, आपातकालीन सेवाओं तथा रूट डायवर्जन की व्यवस्थाओं का जायजा लिया और संबंधित अधिकारियों को आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।

निरीक्षण के दौरान अधिकारियों ने उन संवेदनशील स्थलों को भी चिह्नित किया जहां कांवड़ यात्रियों की संख्या अधिक रहने की संभावना है। इसके अलावा संभावित भीड़ वाले क्षेत्रों, कट पॉइंट, प्रवेश एवं निकास मार्गों, पार्किंग स्थलों तथा बैरिकेडिंग व्यवस्था की भी समीक्षा की गई। अधिकारियों ने निर्देश दिए कि यात्रा के दौरान किसी भी प्रकार की अव्यवस्था न होने पाए और श्रद्धालुओं को सुरक्षित एवं सुगम यात्रा का अनुभव मिले।

                        

पुलिस प्रशासन द्वारा यात्रा मार्ग पर अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल की तैनाती, सीसीटीवी कैमरों से निगरानी, ड्रोन कैमरों के माध्यम से संवेदनशील क्षेत्रों पर नजर रखने तथा यातायात संचालन को सुचारु बनाए रखने के लिए विशेष कार्ययोजना तैयार की जा रही है। इसके साथ ही एंबुलेंस, फायर ब्रिगेड और अन्य आपातकालीन सेवाओं को भी अलर्ट मोड पर रखने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं।

अपर पुलिस अधीक्षक हापुड़ विनीत भटनागर ने कहा कि, "कांवड़ यात्रा आस्था का एक बड़ा पर्व है और लाखों श्रद्धालु इस दौरान विभिन्न मार्गों से होकर गुजरते हैं। पुलिस प्रशासन की प्राथमिकता है कि प्रत्येक श्रद्धालु स्वयं को सुरक्षित महसूस करे और यात्रा शांतिपूर्ण वातावरण में संपन्न हो। इसी उद्देश्य से गंगा एक्सप्रेसवे सहित विभिन्न मार्गों का लगातार निरीक्षण किया जा रहा है। यातायात व्यवस्था को सुचारु रखने के लिए विस्तृत रूट डायवर्जन प्लान तैयार किया जा रहा है, ताकि आम नागरिकों और कांवड़ यात्रियों दोनों को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा का सामना न करना पड़े। 

संवेदनशील स्थानों पर अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल की तैनाती की जाएगी तथा आधुनिक तकनीक की सहायता से पूरे यात्रा मार्ग की निगरानी की जाएगी। सभी थाना प्रभारियों और संबंधित अधिकारियों को स्पष्ट निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि वे अपने-अपने क्षेत्रों में सुरक्षा व्यवस्थाओं का नियमित निरीक्षण करें। हमारा प्रयास है कि कांवड़ यात्रा पूर्ण रूप से सुरक्षित, व्यवस्थित और श्रद्धालुओं के लिए सुविधाजनक रहे। इसके लिए पुलिस, प्रशासन और अन्य विभागों के बीच समन्वय स्थापित कर व्यापक स्तर पर तैयारियां की जा रही हैं।"

पुलिस अधिकारियों ने संबंधित विभागों को निर्देशित किया कि यात्रा मार्ग पर साफ-सफाई, प्रकाश व्यवस्था, पेयजल एवं अन्य मूलभूत सुविधाओं की उपलब्धता भी सुनिश्चित की जाए। प्रशासन का कहना है कि कांवड़ यात्रा के दौरान कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने और श्रद्धालुओं की सुरक्षा के लिए हर आवश्यक कदम उठाया जाएगा। निरीक्षण के दौरान पुलिस विभाग के अन्य अधिकारी एवं कर्मचारी भी मौजूद रहे।

                                

Police Intensifies Preparations for Kanwar Yatra, Inspects Ganga Expressway Security Arrangements

Hapur: In view of the upcoming Kanwar Yatra and Shravan Shivratri festival, the police administration has stepped up preparations to ensure the smooth, safe, and peaceful conduct of the annual pilgrimage. On Saturday, Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) Hapur Vineet Bhatnagar and Superintendent of Police (City), Meerut, conducted a joint inspection of the Ganga Expressway and reviewed the arrangements along the Kanwar Yatra route.

During the inspection, the officers assessed security measures, traffic management plans, emergency response arrangements, and proposed route diversions. They also identified sensitive and high-footfall locations where a large number of Kanwariyas are expected to gather during the pilgrimage. Necessary instructions were issued to concerned officials to ensure effective crowd management and smooth movement of devotees.

The officers reviewed arrangements related to barricading, entry and exit points, parking facilities, and surveillance mechanisms. They directed officials to ensure that no inconvenience is caused to devotees and that all security measures remain in place throughout the pilgrimage period.

The police administration is preparing a comprehensive security plan, which includes the deployment of additional police personnel, CCTV surveillance, drone monitoring at sensitive locations, and a detailed traffic diversion strategy. Emergency services, including ambulances and fire brigade units, have also been instructed to remain on high alert during the yatra.

Speaking on the occasion, ASP Hapur Vineet Bhatnagar said, “The Kanwar Yatra is one of the most significant religious events, attracting lakhs of devotees from different regions. Our foremost priority is to ensure the safety and security of every pilgrim. Continuous inspections of the Ganga Expressway and other routes are being carried out to identify and address potential challenges in advance. A detailed traffic diversion plan is being prepared to ensure smooth traffic flow for both devotees and the general public. 

Additional police forces will be deployed at sensitive locations, and modern surveillance technologies, including drones and CCTV cameras, will be used for round-the-clock monitoring. All concerned officers have been directed to regularly inspect arrangements in their respective jurisdictions. Through close coordination between the police, administration, and other departments, we are committed to ensuring that the Kanwar Yatra is conducted in a peaceful, secure, and well-organized manner.”

Police officials have also instructed concerned departments to ensure proper sanitation, lighting, drinking water facilities, and other essential amenities along the pilgrimage route. The administration has reiterated its commitment to maintaining law and order and providing a safe and convenient environment for all devotees during the Kanwar Yatra.
